WORLD CANCER DAY 2022

Bahria Town is observing World Cancer Day 2022 to empower people to #closethecaregap, understand, and recognize the inequities in cancer care around the globe. This year’s World Cancer Day theme, ‘Close the Care Gap’ promotes awareness of the equity gap that impacts practically everyone and costs life, motivating us to study, comprehend, and take action to help break down the barriers to cancer care.
Let’s #closethecaregap & aware others to eradicate this disease.

This is Siraj – a young construction worker from Layyah with eyes full of life. Siraj works as a laborer in Lahore and supports his family. A few days ago, Siraj suffered a life-threatening fall from a multi-storey building. Both his legs and arm were fractured.
Siraj suffered a trauma, and was rejected at different hospitals. Finally, he was taken to Bahria Town International Hospital where the Medical ICU unit took up the case. Here, Prof. Dr. Ehtesham along with his team carried out an intensive 45-minute procedure & performed a successful operation.
Now Siraj, can finally move. With his mobility increasing with each passing day, he is being cared for by specialist doctors. Bahria Town will ensure that Siraj is soon back on his feet to be a productive citizen of Pakistan.
